This is a hand-printed voucher for one of our one-day linocut printmaking courses. Over the day we will teach you how to make multi-block linocut prints, one of processed used to make colour prints..
On the course you will learn about:
- image selection and composition
- block preparation, image transfer and registration
- Inks and papers
- Taking an impression
We will teach you to print on our presses but we also show you how to print without a press. This means that with the skills you learn on the course you will be able to continue printmaking at home.
You do not need any previous experience for this course. We take a maximum of 5 students per course so there is space for plenty of one-to-one tuition. Because of the small numbers, there is great flexibility with what you are able to do on this course, so if there is an aspect of linocut printmaking that you are particularly keen to cover on your day, please do discuss this with us. Likewise we can accommodate both beginners and the more experienced printmakers.
We teach the courses in our workshop, where we have 200 years worth of printmaking technology all still in use under one roof. All materials are included in the price.
Once you have bought your course, we will sort out your course dates with you. If you have a group who would like a workshop, please contact us to arrange this. Our current dates for autumn 2024 are:

We accept payment through paypal and Etsy pay. Payment should be received up to five days after the item is brought. If payment is not received within this time then the item will be re-listed.
Cancellations can be made before the item has been shipped, but not after.
Items will be packaged appropriately for safe shipping, and will be dispatched within five working days of payment.
Shipping charges reflect the time put into and cost of packaging as well as the postal charge. We may sometimes use recycled packaging (eg. re-used jiffy bags) through a regard for the environment.
A normal, 2nd class postal service will be used, although there is always the option of a 1st Class or a registered service . If you choose this option there will be an extra charge to reflect the difference in the postal cost. For larger items we would recommend a registered service.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

If the buyer is not convinced that the item they received matched our description of it, then we will examine refunds in such circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post.
