Voucher for Weekend Linocutting Course

Shipping to United States: Free

This is a hand-printed voucher for one of our weekend linocut printmaking courses, held at our workshops in the heart of Wytham Woods, Oxford. Over the weekend you will learn the complete process of linocutting and reduction printmaking. You will make two prints, a black and white print and a 3-colour reduction print. We take a maximum of 6 students per course. Both Robin and Rosie teach on the course so expect a lot of one-to one attention!

On the course you will learn about:
- image selection and composition
- block preparation, image transfer and registration
- Inks and papers
- Taking an impression

We will teach you to print on our Albion press but we also show you how to print without a press. This means that with the skills you learn on the course you will be able to continue printmaking at home.

The course is designed for beginners but with the high student/staff ratio we are able to adapt the course to the individual so if there is a particular aspect of relief printmaking you want to concentrate on over your course, discuss this with us and we will tailor your course to your needs. We are Covid-safe and are able to teach in correctly socially distanced spaces.

All materials are included in the price, as are lunch, drinks and snacks on the two days.

Once you have bought your course, we will sort out your course dates with you. Our current dates for 2024 are:
24/25 February, 20/21 April, 8/9 June
